Anji Khad Bridge
Anji Khad Bridge is India’s first cable-stayed rail bridge located in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The bridge spans over the Chenab River and has a total length of 1.315 km, making it one of the longest cable-stayed rail bridges in Asia. The bridge construction began in May 2020, and it was completed in 11 months, which is an impressive feat. The bridge’s construction is a significant milestone for the Indian Railways and a boost to the region’s connectivity.
