The community of Allen, Texas, is reeling from a devastating shooting incident that occurred at the Allen Premium Outlets on Saturday, May 6. The incident resulted in the tragic loss of eight innocent lives, including the suspected shooter.

 

As of Sunday morning, Medical City McKinney has been providing medical treatment to four patients affected by the incident. One patient is in fair condition, while three others remain in critical condition. In addition, one patient has been transferred to Medical City Plano, a Level I Trauma Center, and is currently listed in fair condition. Another patient has been transferred to Medical City Children’s Hospital and is reported to be in fair condition. Another individual received treatment at a separate local hospital.

The Allen Police Department is working in collaboration with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Allen Premium Outlets to establish a plan for reuniting individuals with their vehicles left at the scene.
